Applications Product with high soaping /anti-redepositing power used in dyeing and printing with reactive dyes.
WASH SR
Features
Description
WASH SR is a non-surfactant soaping agent that may be used during soaping after dyeing and printing with reactive dyes. The product’s cleansing action is attributable to its ability to disperse and bind unfixed dye particles.
WASH SR can completely replace surfactants, particularly if the machinery employed has good mechanical action or turbulence.
WASH SR removes and disperses dye then prevents it from redepositing on fabric, preserving the white background of printed articles.
Directions for use
SOAPING OF REACTIVE DYES
During soaping after dyeing and printing with reactive dyes, use of 1 – 2 g/l WASH SR guarantees effective soaping and perfect preservation of light backgrounds on printed fabrics.
To achieve best results, in certain cases it may be used with a surfactant such as our WASH PS/36, with which it has a synergic action.
SOAPING OF DISPERSE DYES
WASH SR, with its high dispersing action, is used for alkaline stripping after dyeing and printing with disperse dyes. At this stage the dye, in view of its high temperature, has a certain affinity with the substrate. Use of 1 – 2 g/l WASH SR prevents dye from redepositing, increasing its wet fastness and preserving white backgrounds.
